The European Commission announced on Monday that it had completed its preparations for Britain’s exit from the European Union without an agreement.
The European Commission said in a statement that it had completed the emergency measures and preparations it had begun since December 2017.
The announcement came days after EU leaders agreed to a request to British Prime Minister Theresa May to postpone BREXIT less than May had requested.
The paper pointed out that article 50 of the Lisbon treaty on exit from the European Union has been extended and that Britain will leave the Union on April 12, meaning that London will withdraw without reaching an agreement if Britain cannot obtain the parliament’s agreement on the BREXIT, or make another extension or cancel the process BREXIT.
