French Environment Minister Brune Poirson said she plans to launch a number of new measures to conserve the environment by fighting waste and eliminating the unwanted dumping of waste.
In a statement to France’s Journal du Dimanche, the French minister said the French people must be transformed into a society that is using all its resources and recycling to save the environment.
The French government plans to consider a new draft law to be presented by the minister next Wednesday.
Brune Poirson, a member of the ruling Republican Party, stressed that consumption should be reduced, unnecessary packaging avoided, reuse and recycling encouraged.
