Johnson and Trump look to work together on a Free Trade Agreement. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has spoken to US President Donald Trump, as he congratulated Johnson on his victory in Thursday’s general election, a spokesman for Downing Street said Monday.

The spokesman added – according to the British news channel – that Boris Johnson and Donald Trump had agreed to “serious joint cooperation” on a number of issues, including negotiations on the “ambitious” free trade agreement.

According to Johnson’s victory in the general elections, Britain is supposed to leave the European Union on January 31 next to implement the Brexit agreement, as Britain can conclude trade agreements with countries around the world as a country separate from the European bloc.
