Massive power outage in London and Southeastern England widely effected the Rail and traffic network services yesterday.

Due to the power outage, train services inside and outside London including Thameslink, Southern and Gatwick Express are facing delays and cancellations.

Transport for London (TfL) said the Victoria subway system had to be suspended and a warning was given to the public to use the road more cautiously because the traffic lights were not working.

“We believe this is due to the failure of the National Grid network system to the detriment of our customers,” UK Power Network said via Twitter.

National Grid has electricity and gas delivery systems in England and Wales to balance customer supply and demand.

To date, National Grid has been unable to reach any comment on power outage.
