Northern Macedonia: Police apprehends 22 migrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh

Northern Macedonia police arrested 22 immigrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh aboard a bus near Demir Kapija during an inspection patrol on the country’s southern border.

According to the network ABC News, on Sunday quoted local media announced that the Macedonian border officers were able to seize the immigrants on Saturday, where they were transferred to the shelters in the city, as well as the arrest of the bus driver.

Police said migrants were looking for the passage to enter northern Macedonia illegally via Greece, saying they would deport them again.

It is noteworthy that the police of Macedonia had prevented about 10,000 migrants from entering the country illegally during the first half of this year.
