Russia has announced the launch of its first space flight. Russian space agency Roscosmos signed an agreement with Space Adventures to transfer two “space participants” to the ISS by the end of 2021.
Russia has carried only seven tourists into space since 2001, now about to expand the number in near future, according to the Engadget website .
The flight is scheduled to start on the Soyuz spacecraft and will be a short trip, and tourists are supposed to pay large sums of money.
According to the Russian Space Agency, the funds help finance the Russian space industry, including the development of Soyuz vehicles in the future.
