British Prime Minister Theresa May has condemned the shooting of two mosques in downtown Christchurch, New Zealand, killing 49 people and injuring 48 others so far.

“On behalf of the United Kingdom, I extend my deepest condolences to the people of New Zealand in the victims of the horrific terrorist attack, and to our condolences to all those affected by this deadly violence,” Mai wrote.

The city of Christchurch saw a shooting attack on two different mosques, the first in a mosque in Dynes Street and the second in a mosque on Linewood Street.
