President Donald Trump will attend a news conference with French President Emmanuel Macron on Monday at the end of the Group of Seven summit in France, the White House said.

The White House officials in its daily press briefing said on Monday that the conference would be held in Biarritz at 3.30 p.m.

Trump insisted on Sunday that he was in harmony during the summit with other leaders of the group, which includes Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Japan.

But the differences have arisen over issues ranging from the escalating trade war with China to the nuclear ambitions of Iran and North Korea and the question of whether Russian President Vladimir Putin should be rejoined to the Group of Seven.
