Security forces responsible for protecting the House of Commons have arrested two lawmakers trying to steal valuable furniture from their offices in the House of Commons.

According to the Sputnik news agency, the incident prompted the parliament authorities to send a letter to all deputies departing, warning of theft of furniture.

One of the officials in the parliament said the two deputies were trying to move old furniture from their offices last week, and one of them even moved a sofa.
