UK: Flights operation resumes at Gatwick airport after two hours suspension

Flight operations resumed from Gatwick airport after two hours of suspension,airport authorities said on Wednesday,  The second busiest airport in the UK.

Flight operations were halted due to the air traffic control technical issues

“Flight resumed but we advise passengers to check their flight status before heading to the airport as we return to full capacity,” airport authorities said.

The UK’s second busiest airport had released a statement on Twitter saying it was “working with ANS [Air Navigation Systems], our provider, to rectify this issue as quickly as possible”.

The authorities apologised for the inconvenience and advised passengers to contact airlines to check their flight information.

All the inbound and outbound flights at the Gatwick airport suspended during two hours were rescheduled
