The death toll from Hurricane Dorian has risen to at least 50, the health minister of the Bahamas said on Tuesday.

More bodies were expected to be found as searches continued under the rubble in cyclone-devastated areas north of the Bahamas, ABC News quoted the Bahamian authorities as saying.

It is noteworthy that Hurricane Dorian also killed at least seven people in the Puerto Rico, southeastern United States.
