Norfolk County, Virginia, witnessed a shooting that injured 4 children, after an argument between two people.

The police arrived after the accident, but a neighboring hospital reported receiving 4 victims, who, according to the police are, a 6-year-old girl, a 14-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, and a 16-year-old boy.

“When I ran down there she was crying, they were holding her. I said ‘lay her down, put pressure on her’,” one man said. “She was fainting out. They were telling her to hold on — she was saying, ‘I can’t.’” – Local citizens.

One of the victims, a 6-year-old girl, had a gunshot wound to the stomach and was undergoing surgery – according to her uncle. She was originally reported to have been seriously injured, but police say she is now stable.

Norfolk Police Chief Larry Boone said none of the children had life-threatening injuries, adding that the shooter was known and hoped he would be arrested soon.
