Disaster Management Authority of Pakistan said that at least 20 people were killed and more than 200 were injured after an earthquake struck the center of the country
The US Geological Survey said that the quake had a magnitude of 5.7 and that it occurred at dawn on Thursday at a depth of 20 km, and its epicenter was 102 km east of Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.
More than 100 mud houses collapsed and a large number of other buildings were damaged, including government buildings.
The Deputy commissioner of Harnai said that hundreds of people have become homeless.
Rescue officials said most of the dead were women and children.
