The German Minister of Health, Jens Spahn, announced that more than 22 million digital vaccination certificates will be delivered to newly vaccinated people in vaccination centers and medical practices, but also to those who have already been vaccinated later in pharmacies and in some federal states by mail.

A week ago, many pharmacies were issuing digital vaccination cards to people who had not yet received them directly from the corona vaccination, and by the end of June, the digital vaccination certificate should be available to anyone who wants it through doctors’ clinics, vaccination centers, and pharmacies.

Those who have been vaccinated can show their certificate in the form of a QR code on their smartphone, for example when traveling, as the corresponding application must be downloaded for this purpose, and an EU online platform for checking vaccination certificates will be launched across Europe on 1 July.

If you do not have a smartphone or do not want to use it for proof of vaccination, you can print the certificate using a QR code, and proof of vaccination status is still possible via the yellow vaccination booklet or doctor’s certificate.
