He said journalists had the power of pen and could play a vital role in the betterment of society. He said quality education must be the top most priority in Pakistan, as only literacy could bring development and prosperity in any country.
Former President of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Anjum Nisar said the business community is playing its due role but the prevailing political uncertainty is hurting the economic progress of Pakistan. He hoped that things will be sorted out soon.

He said there are huge construction and development opportunities between Canada and Pakistan and the government should prioritize the sector.
Host of the event, Mehboob Shaikh said overseas Pakistanis are quite concerned with the prevailing economic and political challenges in the country, while investors are reluctant to invest due to the prevailing circumstances.
He informed that the World Media Conference is being held in Canada next year, wherein media personalities from Pakistan, America, Australia, Germany, Russia, Dubai and China will be invited.
