UN: More than 500,000 Ukrainians have fled to neighboring countries

The United Nations confirmed that more than 500,000 Ukrainian refugees have fled the Russian war on their country

On the other hand, United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said that the fighting in Ukraine must stop, explaining that the Ukrainian capital is besieged from all sides.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, during his speech at the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, added that hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians have fled beyond the borders of their country, pointing out that Ukraine’s sovereignty must be respected and its territory protected.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations added: We have “chills” as a result of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s declaration of nuclear readiness, explaining that the United Nations will not abandon the Ukrainian people.

The Secretary-General of the United Nations said that the window for dialogue on Ukraine must remain open despite the war.
