Prime minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, addressed the nation ahead of no-confidence against him. The address was deemed important as the premier revealed particulars about the details in the letter that Pakistan received on March 7, 2022.

Khan addressed the nation right after wrapping up his meeting with the National Security Council, where he unfolded the conspiracy and the threat that he received from the particular country.

Pakistan is at a defining moment

Starting his speech with the history of Pakistan, Khan proceeded on and finally revealed the content of the letter. He said the warning is not against Pakistan but particularly against Imran Khan.

– On March 8 or before that on March 7, the US sent us a…not the US but a foreign country sent us a message. The reason why I am talking about this…for an independent country to receive such a message… this is against me and the country…  (the letter) stated that if the no-confidence motion passes, Pakistan will be forgiven, if not, there will be consequences.

Khan said the letter was received on March 7, during his tour of Russia. He further clarified that the document mentioned the “No-confidence motion” before the No-confidence motion was even passed in the assembly. Implying that whomsoever is behest the conspiracy is working with the local opposition parties.

Imran said ever since he assumed power as the Prime Minister of Pakistan, he advocated for a foreign policy that was for the people of the country. “Ever since I formed the government, I have said Pakistan’s foreign policy should be for Pakistan’s people. But, that never meant “enmity” with other nations,” he said.

Imran Khan says three stooges in Pakistan are working with foreign powers. He alleges that the letter has more threatening content than what he is revealing in his address.

Will fight till the last ball

Khan said that whatsoever happens on Sunday (No-confidence motion): “I’ll come back stronger, whatever may the result be.”‘

He further added that “Neither I’m going to bow in front of anyone nor will I let my community do that. Why should we have to crawl like ants? Won’t let our people bend before anyone“.

Ending his speech on a note: When I played cricket for 20 years, the world and those who played cricket with me saw that I play till the last ball. I’ve never accepted defeat in life. Nobody should think that I will sit at home. I’ll come back stronger, whatever may the result be: Pakistan PM Imran Khan
