Pak rupee shed one paisa to close at Rs138.34 on Thursday compared with the last closing of Rs138.33.
However, the rupee gained 10 paisa against greenback in the open market.
The rupee remained comfortable owing to lesser demand and inflows from friendly countries.
The demand from importers and corporate sector was met by remittances and export receipts.
President Forex Association of Pakistan, Malik Bostan Khan said that the buying and selling of US dollar was recorded at Rs137.80/Rs138.30 as against Rs138.00/Rs138.40 in cash free market.
