Pak rupee lost 20 paisas to close at Rs138.70 on Saturday compared with the last closing of Rs138.50 in the open market.
The rupee remained under pressure owing to higher demand from importers and corporate sector. The flow of remittances and export receipts continued as per normal trend.
Malik Bostan Khan, President Forex Association of Pakistan said the buying and selling of US dollar was recorded at Rs138.20/Rs138.70 as against last closing of Rs138.00/Rs138.50 in cash free market.
