Pak rupee gained 5 paisas against US dollar to close at Rs139.41 on Monday compared with the last closing of Rs139.46 in inter-bank market.
The rupee had been declining against the greenback the entire outgoing week on economic uncertainty.
However, the rupee witnessed correction as demand supply situation remained balanced.
A sense of uncertainty prevails in the market resulting in fluctuations in the rupee value.
Rupee shed 20 paisas against dollar in the open market also.
Malik Bostan Khan, President Forex Association of Pakistan said the buying and selling of US dollar was recorded at Rs139.20/Rs139.70 as against last closing of Rs139.00/Rs139.50 in cash free market.
