Member of Economic Advisory Council and  Senior Economist of Pakistan, Saqib Sherani has resigned from the post, well informed sources told on Saturday.

Saqib Sherani tendered his resignation to Prime Minister Imran Khan on early Friday.

 

While commenting on the resignation, Sherani said that he has resigned on personal reasons.

 

He was fourth member who has taken a side from the council. Atif Mian, Asim Ijaz Khawaja and Dr. Imran Rasool already resigned from Economic Advisory Council.

Saqib Sherani is the senior economist, he also served as Advisor of Finance Ministry in Gillani regime.

 

Prime Minister Imran Khan has selected him as member of EAC while constituting the Council.
