Huge blow for PSG, Lille already abandoned the match against this Saturday, due to a thigh injury. Now, Marco Verratti will also be missing in Munich next Wednesday, against Bayern, in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The 28-year-old Italian international has tested positive for Covid-19. “He will therefore respect isolation and is subject to the appropriate health protocol” explains the club in the capital.

Verratti is off for, at least, seven days away from the group and the grounds. A process that he already experienced, he had already tested positive at the end of January.

If all goes well, he should be able to hold his place in the second against the reigning European champions on April 13 at the Parc des Princes.
