Siri virtual assistant will have a significant upgrade in the coming time thanks to the acquisition of Pullstring that Apple has just made. 

When it comes to digital assistant space, Siri is ranked behind two big guys, Google Assistant and Alexa, which are holding market share thanks to smart speakers. However, it seems that Apple is planning to improve Siri through their latest acquisition.

In a report from Axios, Apple bought a company called Pullstring

It is not yet known what Apple plans to do when it acquires a Pullstring, it is clearly to develop Siri’s abilities and functions. Earlier, Apple was known for buying companies and then bringing technology to integrate their products or services into its own products. Typically when they buy Workflow and turn it into Siri Shortcut or Beats Music acquisition to develop into Apple Music.

Although Apple and Pullstring have not yet revealed anything related to the acquisition, many predict that the apple house has bought it at a relatively low cost.

What is Pullstring?

Pullstring is a startup company that designs and publishes voice applications. The company was originally founded in 2011, specialized in creating voice applications for children’s toys, then they expanded to create products for Amazon’s Echo and Google Assistant.
