Britain’s Faradar has unveiled an initial prototype of a hybrid electric vehicle, named after it BEHA_M1H, Which can transport people on short flights through the sky by 2025. If the aircraft becomes a reality, it will be able to complete the journey from London to Manchester in just 42 minutes.
According to the Daily Mail website, the company has announced plans to develop a small, ultra-quiet 18-seater aircraft made of a carbon composite structure designed to complement short flights.
The aircraft will be powered by a 1600-horsepower diesel engine that works with aviation batteries at speeds of 230 miles per hour.
The take-off and landing will be controlled by an electric motor powered by batteries. The engine will be the main power source during the flight, with some help from fixed solar panels.
