Facebook uses two ways to gather information about you

The buzzfeed report revealed that Facebook collects information about its users in two ways, the first through the data they enter their site and applications, and the second by tracking the websites they visit while they are not on Facebook, for this reason, after visiting the site to buy clothes, you are likely to see an ad in NewsVide Facebook or Instagram.

Facebook monitors where you go online and uses your digital fingerprints to target you with ads, but social network users have never been able to see the external data Facebook has collected about them so far.

Facebook tracks your browsing history via the “Login with Facebook” button, the Like button, Facebook comments, and the invisible code, called Facebook Pixel, embedded on other sites.
