Microsoft has decided to donate 500 patents to startups of the non-profit organization, the License On Transfer (LOT), as part of the expansion of its Azure IP Advantages program“He said.

The Azure IP Advantages program, launched in 2018, protects users of Microsoft’s cloud computing service, Azure, from patent infringers and protects the iTunes Access network, which is consistent with the program’s purpose, protecting companies from patent infringement by granting them the right Access to a large library of patents from nearly 400 companies such as Amazon, Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Uber and Netflix.“He said.

The company said the decision aims to help the License On Transfer (LOT) network to develop and stimulate its network of startups by providing them with patents.

Qualifying startups will receive Microsoft’s 500 patents as part of its free membership. The network will give its startup members three patents from this group,.
