Microsoft announced the re-launch of Windows 1.0, almost 34 years after the software was first released.
According to the Verge, the company posted a video on its official Twitter account showing Windows banners flashing across the screen in reverse order, with music playing the 1980s in the background.
“We offer you the all-new Windows 1.0 with an hour, MS-DOS executive, and more !!”
The announcement was met with mixed reactions from Windows fans. When a Twitter user asked why Microsoft had decided to re-launch Windows, Microsoft replied, “It comes with REVERSI!”
The Reversi is a board game played with dark side lit discs on the other side.
