Samsung, TCL, Hisense, Panasonic & Sony formed the industry’s first 8K Association

At the 2019 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, USA, a number of TV manufacturers brought the latest 8K TVs and formed the 8K Association on the spot.

TCL released the latest artificial intelligence televisions include TCL X10 QLED 8K and 8 series flagship products, including; Sony brings a new LCD TV Z9G Master Series at CES booth. It is available in both 85-inch and 98-inch sizes. In this series of TVs, Sony uses the “Picture Processor X1 Ultimate” algorithm, a unique algorithm developed specifically for 8K.

The ability to intelligently detect and analyze each object in the image to improve the detail and contrast of the picture for a more realistic picture.


Samsung introduced 5 sizes of 8K QLED TV at the show, The new product basically adds HDMI 2.1 input and supports 4K 120 frames and 8K 60 frames for video playback.

This year’s international consumer electronics exhibitors, Samsung Electronics, Panasonic, Hisense, TCL and other home appliance manufacturers giants jointly created the industry’s first 8K Association (8K Association, 8KA) and is committed to promoting the construction of the 8K ecosystem to develop a global application 8K display technical standards.
