Mark Zuckerberg, chief executive of Facebook, has revealed that the company is seeking to implement six solar projects to support Facebook data centers around the world, in conjunction with Earth Day.

“On Earth Day, we announce 6 new solar projects to support Facebook data centers, where our data centers are already one of the most energy-efficient centers in the world, last year we developed,” Zuckerberg said in a leaflet on his Facebook page.

“A target for all our data centers and offices to use 100% renewable energy by 2020, these new solar projects will help us reach this goal. ” Zuckerberg said

On Monday, April 22, the world celebrated Earth Day, a day of awareness aimed at spreading awareness and concern for the Earth’s natural environment, which was founded by US Senator Gaylord Nelson as a first-ever environmental education event on April 22, 1970.
