American rapper Cardi B has a day after the Grammy Awards delete their Instagram account. The 26-year-old rapper is responding to the hatred she faced after being awarded the Grammy for the Rap Album of the Year on Sunday. Cardi B had been awarded for her work “Invasion of Privacy” in this category as the first album by a solo artist.
The rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, made it clear in a video that she was tired of “seeing the crap” that was said about her. “I worked hard for my damn album.” During her pregnancy, she “locked herself in the studio for three months” and reached the top of the charts with the album.
“Invasion of Privacy” set several records when it appeared in April 2018, including most of the streams for a debut studio album. Whether the Instagram channel of Cardi B is only temporarily offline, or she has permanently adopted the social network is not yet known.
