Brazilian authorities on Friday pushed planes to rescue two buildings collapsed in western Rio de Janeiro after two dead and dozens of people were wounded.
Brazilian media reported that the collapse followed the city’s heavy rainfall over the past few days.
Firefighters said there were no immediate reports of casualties or information on the number of people inside, the Brazilian local news channel showed footage of people walking over the rubble of the two buildings. Indicates that they are survivors.
Rio de Janeiro’s heavy rains have led to floods in the city, killing at least 10 people, the network said..
