British Prime Minister Boris Johnson tested positive for the coronavirus after experiencing “mild symptoms”.

“After seeing mild symptoms yesterday (Thursday), the prime minister was tested to detect the coronavirus” and “the result is positive,” said a spokesman in a statement.

In a video, Boris Johnson appears to be in shape, sitting at the table, in a suit and tie.

He explains that he had a fever and “persistent cough” and that he underwent the test on the recommendation of doctors.

This announcement comes after the positive diagnosis of Prince Charles, 71, who “remains in good health,” according to his services.

Among the heads of state and government, only Prince Albert II of Monaco tested positive for the coronavirus, while German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were isolated after contacting infected people.
