Buckingham Palace announces stripping Harry and Megan of royal titles

Buckingham Palace has stripped of the royal titles of  Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Megan Markle a little while ago, in a new statement broadcast through the royal family official accounts.

This comes after Prince Harry and his wife, Megan Markle, announce that they are quitting royal duties and wanting to reduce their royal duties, spend more time in North America and achieve financial independence.

The statement said: “Harry and Meghan will always be very loved by members of the royal family, and we realize the updates they faced, and we support their desire to live a more independent life, I would like to thank them for all their dedicated work throughout England, and proud of Megan joining the royal family recently quickly.”

The royal couple recognized that they must abandon their royal duties, including official military appointments, and will no longer obtain public funds for royal duties, and with the blessing of the Queen, the palace will continue to preserve its subjects within Sussex, the statement added.

The spouses and property formally in official dealings, saying: “They can no longer officially represent the queen anymore after stripping their royal titles , and they will not use the royal titles of their Royal Highness because they are no longer members of the royal family.”

In the statement, the palace ignored the comment on the security arrangements that would accompany the couple later.
