Dazzling opening ceremony: Special Olympics World Games kicks off in Abu Dhabi

The opening ceremony of the World Games of the Special Olympics kicked off in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with the participation of 7,500 players from 200 countries.

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, will host 7,000 athletes from more than 200 countries at the Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019, which has started from Thursday March 14 and closing ceremony will be held on March 21.

The Organizing Committee for the Special Olympics World Games in Abu Dhabi 2019, is preparing for the largest cultural exchange program in the Middle East and North Africa, through the program of host cities, which aims to introduce visiting delegations to the culture of the UAE and to identify the tourist attractions, cultural and archaeological before participating in the world’s largest human and sporting tournament.
