African Union head El-Sisi at the conclusion of 32 nd summit said that the permanent seat for Africa in the Security Council will be required. The dream is renewed by Egypt taking over the presidency of the African Union. He said it’s a challenge and requires an African-Asian alliance and relations.

“To lift the injustice on the African continent with regard to the membership of the UN Security Council. Continuation of our continent to express its unified position towards the reform of the Security Council in accordance with the Isolwini agreement and the Sirte Declaration.”

In addition to asserting national ownership of development programs and projects, Al-Sisi, at the conclusion of the 32nd AU Summit, renewed hope that the continent will have a permanent seat on the Security Council.
