The company announced Epic for the games ban over 1200 account due to fraud during the first week of the championship Fortnite World Cup on the Internet.

Most of these 1,163 users received a two-week ban to bypass regional restrictions and try to play in multiple areas, and 196 of them won the awards they won as a result.

According to the US site Engadget, 48 others were banned for sharing their accounts, while one received a 72-hour competitive ban due to intentional disconnection, and eight accounts were given a ban on collective action or informal alliances with their opponents.

There was also one unidentified person who reached the semifinals but was finally banned from the game after being caught using the cheating program in the first five minutes of the tournament.

Epic on the prohibition of accounts as warning, in the hope that the next wave of players will remain clean.
