Financial officials in the Group of Twenty countries said today, that they are still committed to resolving disputes over digital services taxes and reaching a broad and consensus-based solution to this issue this year.
Meanwhile, French Finance Minister Bruno Le Mer said that he proposed to his counterparts in the Group of Twenty countries to extend the freeze on the payment of debts this year until the end of the year 2021 and that there are positive signs that an agreement can be reached in this regard.
“I think we’re going to reach an agreement on this major issue,” Bruno told reporters.
