A recent study revealed that the Germans spent 1.7 billion euros on the purchase of ice cream in one year.
From June 2018 to May 2019, the Germans spent about 1.7 billion euros in food stores in exchange for their favorite varieties of ice creams from vanilla to salted caramel, the Tellerreport quoted a study by market research firm Nielsen. Equivalent to about 21.25 euros per person.
The study pointed to the amount of ice creams consumed by the Germans in the past 12 months amounted to about 509 million liters, an increase of 4 percent compared to the same period last year.
