Google beats Amazon to win partnership with General Motors

General Motors (GM) announced on Friday that it has entered into a partnership with Google to support the development of vehicle control systems other than the development of audio technologies and entertainment and information features such as electronic navigation systems and others.

The company, “Alphabet”, the owner of the famous search engine Google succeed the  partnership after a strong competition with and other technology companies wanted to cooperate in this project with General Motors.

According to the Wall Street Journal on Friday, the famous car company will be able to benefit strongly from the developments of voice assistant “Google” and the application of “Google Maps” and other applications available on the “Google Store” in all brands of cars outside China.

The US company confirmed that the first car will be provided with entertainment and information systems supported by Google  technology will be launched in 2021.
