Some recent reports have revealed that Huawei is working on a new operating system for smart phones, known as HongMeng.

The revelation comes at a time when the war between the United States and Huawei is raging, and Google has joined the war and announced that it has stopped supporting its applications for Huawei phones.

Following is a set of information about the new system:

– HongMeng name is just the code name, not the final name of the operating system.

– The system is a contingency plan in case of escalating trade war between the United States and China.

– Huawei has been working on this system since 2012.

– Some reports indicate that the operating system is already tested and will gradually replace Android operating system on Huawei devices.

– Huawei seeks through this system in the market to break the monopoly of operating systems Android and iOS.

– Huawei’s consumer electronics division will unveil its own Android replacement by autumn this year, Huawei’s consumer electronics division chief said.

– It’s not known whether this operating system is based on the Android Open Source Project or whether it will be something else entirely.

– The operating system will work on smart phones, computers and tablets, as well as TVs, cars and smart devices.

– The system according to Huawei will be compatible with Android applications.
