HP CEO Dion Whistler has announced his resignation after more than four years in the job, pointing out that the move was due to reasons related to the health of his family, while expected to be replaced by Enrique Lores.
Lores has been with Hewlett-Packard HP for 30 years, and currently heads the printers, business solutions and imaging business. Until the next shareholder meeting next spring.
HP’s revenue for the fourth quarter was $ 14.60 billion, lower than analysts’ forecasts due to a decline in printer sales.
