Huge Fire broke out on the roof of a Krasmash plant in the central city of Krasnoyarsk, the factory that produces new Sarmat and Sineva ballistic missiles.

A statement from the ministry’s office in the city, quoted by the news agency “Sputnik” Russian: “The roof of one of the buildings (Krasmash) is set on fire,” and continue fire operations.

Sputnik quoted an emergency service source in the city that the total area that caught fire amounted to 5 thousand square meters of the plant and collapsed part of the surface, while the classification of fire on the fourth degree of the difficulty of extinguishing, the highest degree of classification of fires in the city.

The agency quoted another source saying that the workshops assembling the missiles “Sarmat” and the missiles “Sineva” located about one kilometer from the flaming building.

Russian space agency “Roscosmos”, does not pose the possibility of explosion of these missiles as no threat as they are not equipped with warheads.
