Instagram users in 7 countries around the world have seen a significant change in application as the “Like” counter disappears, you will not be able to figure out the number of “likes” received by your friends’ publications.

The trial began in seven countries around the world last night, which aims to remove the anxiety associated with the publication and not to get a large number of hits, as the user will upload a picture and see the number of “Like” received, but no one will know it.

Users can still admire the photos of others, but they will not be able to see the number of likes they have.

The new experience has reached Canada, Japan, Ireland, Italy, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand. Instagram has not yet commented on the date of its arrival in the United States and the United Kingdom, but it is likely to be available in the two markets within months.

Director of Public Policy, Mia Garlick said “We want Instagram to be a place where people feel comfortable expressing themselves, and we hope that this test will remove the pressure from the number of hits the publications will receive, so you can focus on sharing the things you love. We are now testing the test to Australia So we can learn more about how to take advantage of people’s experiences on Instagram, and whether this change can help people focus less on their own and more on telling their story”.
