The chairman of the National Security Committee of the Iranian parliament on Friday called for negotiations with Washington in Iraq or Qatar to manage the current tension, the Russian news agency reported Friday.

CNN reports that US President Donald Trump does not favor any military confrontation with Iran, contrary to a number of Western media reports. Trump prefers to engage in open dialogue with the Iranians.

According to CNN, President Donald Trump has become furious at the emerging impression that his hawkish national security advisers are leading him toward a war with Iran despite his isolationist tendencies, according to informed sources.

US President Donald Trump told reporters on Thursday that he hoped to avoid a war with Iran. For his part, Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said his country had no intention of going to war with the United States, will continue to face the plans of Washington.
