Microsoft warns users of messages in Korean language

A series of malicious attacks have recently spread FlawedAmmyy Rat, which aims to steal Windows user data, so Microsoft warned its users to open messages with content written in Korean.

According to gadgets,  once users have opened the attachment in Korean, the file automatically triggers a function, and downloads the location file digitally to the system, directly affecting the system memory.

The attack was observed by Microsoft’s security team, and the company explained the impact of malicious software. “The detection of a data error helped us discover a new campaign using a complex series of attacks to download and run FlawedAmmyy Rat in memory directly. ”

The company reassured its users to tweak the safety of their devices, and recently prevented its employees from using some applications and services from Google, Amazon and others.
