Bolivia’s President Evo Morales has launched his campaign for the country’s presidential election on Oct. 20.
Fox news reported that the nomination of Morales – who has been in office since 2006 – comes despite the opposition’s assertion that the Bolivian constitution prevents Morales from taking office for a third new term of five years.
For his part, Morales said he is seeking to continue the presidency to complete the great achievements that began in Bolivia, stressing that it will not allow the establishment of US military bases in his country.
