You may not have taken an intensive training course to become an astronaut, but NASA still wants to participate in its next mission to Mars. The US space agency gives ordinary people the chance to send their name – engraved on a chip – to Mars 2020.
Not only that, but if you put your name on the spacecraft flying to Mars, you will also collect the “frequent flyer” points and get a souvenir ticket to show to your fellow Earthlings.
The move is part of a campaign to stir up a fuss about a mission Mars 2020 NASA, which sends a spacecraft to the Red Planet to look for signs of past life, collect samples and study the climate and geology of Mars, NASA also described the mission as “the first leg of the first journey of humanity and the first planet.”
This is not the first time NASA has announced this. It has also done so through the mission of Orion and Insight’s mission, which reached Mars in November 2018.
If you want to send your name to Mars You can register through the official site of NASA here ..
