NASA launches probe into SpaceX rocket to study radiation

NASA launched a study mission which indicates the weather conditions within the solar system and how radiation affects spacecraft, in order to build better conditions for future space exploration.

“We do not want to launch something that can not resist the environment, so these special missions will help us look at the right kind of material and the best possible techniques we can do in space,” said Nicola Fox, NASA’s director of solar physics.

Radiation is one of the major threats to space missions, where active molecules emitted from the sun or in deep space can damage both the spacecraft device program over time.
