NASA uses HoloLens glasses for the virtual reality of Titan’s space mission

NASA has been one of the first to adopt Microsoft’s virtual reality technology for the moon mission. The US space agency recently presented a new video that showed how the headphones helped virtual reality and the mixed reality associated with it to develop next mission of NASA to Saturn’s moon, Without any physical devices.

According to the mspoweruser, the headset is mainly used to develop a dual-orbital Dragonfly that will jump on the satellite surface, allowing the team to evaluate and adjust the design in real time with ease.

With the launch of the actual mission only in 2025, mixed reality may be the only way that the current generation of researchers can see the device working.

On the other hand, NASA’s James Webb telescope Saturn and its rings and one of the Titan’s satellites will be examined as part of a comprehensive program of the solar system, with its launch in 2021, especially as it will care about the unique weather and chemistry of the planet, as well as the origin of the system of luxury rings.
