North Korea confirms Kim to visit Russia for a summit with Putin

North Korean media have confirmed that Kim Jong-un, the country’s supreme leader, will visit Russia for a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

According to the Korean central news agency, the visit will be “soon”, without giving details of its timing and venue.

Earlier, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Putin and Kim were in the process of meeting by the end of April.
